(Psalm 37:1-13)<\/p>\n
Do not\u00a0be agitated by evildoers,\u00a0envy those who do wrong,\u00a0be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the man who carries out evil plans,\u00a0give into anger,\u00a0hold onto rage,\u00a0be agitated (at all),\u00a0scheme against the righteous, or\u00a0gnash your teeth at the righteous.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Or else\u00a0you will\u00a0<\/span>wither quickly like grass<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>wilt like tender green plants<\/span>, <\/span>be brought harm<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>be destroyed<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>be no more in just a little while, nowhere to be found<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>be laughed at by the LORD because He sees that his day is coming.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Do\u00a0trust in the LORD<\/span> (x2)<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>what is good<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>dwell in the land<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>cultivate faithfulness<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>take delight in the LORD<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>commit you way to the LORD<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>be silent before the LORD<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>wait\u00a0expectantly\u00a0for Him, and\u00a0hope in the LORD.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Then He will give you your heart’s desires,\u00a0He will act, making your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like noonday,\u00a0you will inherit the earth (x2), and\u00a0you will enjoy abundant prosperity.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n How do we do the “do’s” and receive the blessings rather than do the “do not’s” and receive the ills? Psalm 37:39-40 is the answer.<\/p>\n The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD<\/strong>, their refuge in a time of distress.
